Snake Eyes

Never drawn any GI Joe characters before, so I decided to give it a go today.
The decision to do Snake Eyes was not a difficult one.
I mean, who doesn't like drawing Ninjas??

Bad Bad Jimmy Ruckus

Gettin' down with some more Hot Peas and Butta/ Big Pimp Jones
artwork!
I did these today to be used as promotional artwork
for the funk band Big Pimp Jones.
Two of their albums serve as soundtracks to fictitious films from the
70's about a character named "Bad Bad Jimmy Ruckus"
For more info check out www.bigpimpjones.com

Wolverine

I've tried drawing Wolverine a few times in the past.
For whatever reason though, I never felt like was able to nail it very well.

This is definitely my best attempt thus far.
I think I usually have trouble with the face.
Somehow, I haven't been able to get a face which "felt" like
Wolverine until now.
I like this face because he sorta has that subtle
"who wants to f*%k with me?"
expression.

MoCCA Fest 2012

So we're just about a week away from this year's
MoCCA Festival.
In case you're unfamiliar... MoCCA is the
Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art located in Manhattan.
Several years ago they started having these annual festivals
which serve as both a fundraiser for the museum, as well
as an outlet for artists to show off and sell they're goods.
This is the first year I shall be participating.
Having recently finished my FIRST solo Comic Book
project, I figured this would be a great place for it to make it's
public debut.
I'm quite excited!
I'll be selling my comic
"She Wasn't Like the Others"
as well as various prints, and will maybe have some
FREE goodies as well!
I hope anyone reading this can make it.

Visit the MoCCA website for more info!

90's

Finally done coloring this bad boy.
Took a little while, but in the end I'm pretty happy with it's vibe.
The bright colors are the key to getting that 90's feel.
While workin' on it I couldn't help but think of all the TV shows
I used to watch in the early 90's like Saved by the Bell
and Wild and Crazy Kids.
When I think about those shows, the thing that sticks out most
in my memory are the clothes they would wear.
Remember all the bright neon t-shirts they wore on Wild
and Crazy Kids?
Psh, I sure do.

Party Time, Excellent!

This weekend I'm working on a flyer for the Brooklyn
Hip Hop Dance party "Got to Get a Knut".
This particular party is a 90's Hip Hop themed jam so
I tried to throw in as much 90's stuff as I could think of.
Having bright neon colors will help give it the proper 90's feel,
and I'll post the colored version once I finish it.

These dudes are members of Brooklyn's own
Breaks Kru.

Now...
Time to color.

TMNT

I decided to draw a Ninja Turtle this morning.
At first I was gonna do Michelangelo, but then chose Raphael instead.
I'm semi-pleased with how it turned out...
*shrug*
